my little artist - Observing shapes in nature - watercolours

My three year old surprise me. He sometimes scribble something and I do not know what it is, and sometimes he paint something like that. These pictures my son had painted exactly four months ago, he was then equal to three years.

He saw how I paint and he brings a variety of fruits from the kitchen and began to paint. At each subsequent fruit he was bored more and he watched less.

Using Maps as Kid's Room Decor #1

I decided to refresh my posts about my son's room. I will not be here another two weeks, because I have been studying for the exam.

I installed Disqus, which for some can be facilitated, and the other hurdle. I hope you don't stop to comment. During the installation occurred some error and I can not import the old comments, it's sad for me. You can traditionally comment by the blogger on mobile phones. Feel free to leave comment.

For a long time, I want to change the room's son because I think that is too boring. I love the rooms in black and white, but I do not see it my busy kid. The first thought that came to my mind was traveling, and traveling as it best fits me quite popular recently theme maps.

Always put off it for later, and so I didn't do anything, but most of the material to renew room I had. Today, inspired me, and I decided to focus on the little things. I glued the map on the wall, and Kai {my son} said - "WOW moms!" and I want to do more as soon as possible:-)

We just need a map, glue or pushpins, and we get a really nice effect. Why I did not do this before? I really do not know.

 Sweet dreams my darling!

Who does not like sweets? A birthday cake.

Finally the main thing - a birthday cake and other sweets.
It was my first birthday cake for my son's first birthday. It's a nice coincidence. I chose simple recipe because I knew that a lot of time I spent on decorating cake.
It's a birthday cake gluten-free & dairy-free.

I inspired by a recipe for a cake that I found here.
Ingredients
5 eggs,
1 cup (170 g) icing sugar,
3 cup (500 g) potato flour or curn flour (I didn't use),
200 g margarine for baking (dairy-free)
1 tablespoons baking powder
vanilla extract

1. Prepare the cake form.

2. The eggs mix  an electric mixer on a medium speed for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Next add the sugar one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each one.

3. Mix together the flour and baking powder in a bown and sift. Then add the egg and mix until just combined.
4. Melt margarine in a small saucepan, pour the boiling it to the mixture and mix just until combine.
5. Bake for the first 30 minutes at 160ºC and next 170ºC for about 20-30 minutes.

Enjoy!

I decorated the cake with icing and food coloring.
...and here are the effects of my work :-)

My son loved it.

...and enjoyed.

I made cookies using the same recipe but I used a gluten-free flour for cookies. They were a little bit harder.

...something from the shop

 ...something fresh.

A Little Farm - finger puppets

Five Little Finger Puppets.

Kids love it.

You do not have to do crochet finger puppets like me - I like to do :-).

You can use simple materials. Take an old glove (often one get lost), a piece of material, a glue or a needle and thread.

I hope that my finger puppets you will inspire to create your own.
Have Fun And Enjoy!
