Pureed Fruit Dessert - Kissel

Kissel is a popular and simple dessert among Eastern Europeans.
Poles call it kisiel. Other names: kisel, kysil, kisielius.

Pureed Fruit Dessert
*1 pound berries – blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc. – any type and in any combination
*300 ml cold water
*sugar to taste (I do not use sugar as I do for my baby)
*2 tablespoon potato flour (dissolved in a tbs of cold water)

Preparation:
Place the fruit in a saucepan and pour water over. Boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Simmer for about 15 mins until tender. With the back of a spoon rub through a fine sieve .Return to the pan and bring to a boil again. Reduce heat to moderate, stir in the dissolved potato meal and, stirring constantly cook another 2 or 3 minutes until it thickens.

You can serve cold and hot.

Enjoy your meal!

Mine!

Y ummy...

Knead, knead...

Give me more.

I'm full.

Do you want a little dessert?

What else do I get dirty?

What...?
