I used sand paper and me hands to remove the paint because my baby was asleep. Normally,I would use a sanders, but my child scared of the sound (so removing paint took a long time). I used a white acrylic paint with a lots of water. Finally, I used the natural shoe polish to protect wood. It's cheap and very good.
I bought baskets.
Wow it looks so different! AND SO NICE!! I would never have thought of that, I would have just painted it a solid colour.
ReplyDeleteI love wood. This wood was in good condition so I used an acrylic paint diluted with water. Now you can see the wood and color. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice - I love how you didn't bury the wood with paint. It's kind of like a pickled finish where the grain still shows and you can tell that it's real wood. Just lovely.
