Custom Portrait Painting from your photography.

 Portraits of kids make a timeless gift and a wonderful focal point in anyone's home. All my portraits are painted using acrylic paint  on artist's grade canvas or hardboard.

I paint custom children's portraits, adults portraits, animals portraits  and children's illustrations,. I work mostly with acrylics paints but also work with pastels, oil paints, pencil and mixed media.

  

How much will I pay for a portrait?

Prices start at approx. £40, but please mail me to discuss { jo.pabel.g@gmail.com }. This is an example of an original, custom made acrylic painting, 12 x 16 inches {30x40 cm}, unframed. It is a one of a kind, original painting on artist's grade canvas or hardboard.

Turnaround time for completed custom portraits.

I can start your portrait as soon as I have received your 30% deposit. This becomes non-refundable once the process has started. I will contact you by email with more details about the procedure of creating your portrait. Once complete I will email you a scan of the finished artwork for your approval, and the 70% balance is due before shipping.

 Depending on my workload, I will usually be ready to ship in 2 weeks. If you have a deadline sooner than this please let me know and I will see if I can do a rush order for you.

How to choose a good photo for a portrait?

I work from photographs so please email me your best photograph(s) and we can work out together which are the most suitable to use for a portrait.

Useful Tips

1. The photo must be of good quality, that is sharp. Eyes are open and mouth closed. Nothing obscures the face.Your photo must be clear with lots of detail
2. Avoid shots against the light and flash.
3. The best if your photo has been taken in natural soft light (no flash!) and shot slightly from an angle.
4. Photos of face taken from approximately 2 m usually best reflect features.

Packaging and shipping is carried out with quality and safety in mind. All artwork is securely packaged either in a poster tube or suitable packaging to ensure safe delivery and to maintain quality and best condition throughout the journey while in transit until delivery.

•  Shipping time to the UK is usually between 2-4 day
•  Shipping time Internationally is usually between 7-14 days
•  It is also possible personal collection

I'm Your Bag!

I have made a bag for my child and then I painted it. To sew my son's bag I used an old bag. It was easier. I have used some ready-made parts of an old shopping bag.

Paint your child's clothes!

Hand-painting a design on a clothes for your baby can be very simple.

What do you need?

You need a child that going to sleep 20 minutes.

The best baby clothes is white.

Acrylic paints.

Pencil, brush and potato.
