If you are looking for a quick project for your boy (or girl!). Found it here. You can easily change the look of clothes.
You'll need:
-item to applique (I’m using a t-shirt and jeans)
-fabric scraps
-fusible webbing
-imagination or ready template
The front pocket of jeans.
1. Prepare a scrap fabric, scissors, iron and fusible tape. Make the first fitting.2. Unsew a little pocket to exactly fits piece of fabric.
3. Final fitting. You can use pins and fusible webbing.
4. Ironing.
5. And go slowly while you sew!
...and done the front pocket.
Next is the back pocket of jeans.
Sew the same as above {front pocket}. Here I used two stitches. It may be a problem with the curves {see below}.
Applique T-Shirt
1. First you need to select something to applique {my first applique here}.
2. I eyeball the placement of the design on the front of the shirt.
3. Iron them without using steam.
4. Go slowly while you sew.
Curves
I put my hands right on top of the project and use my fingers to maintain full control over it while I sew {I do not always succeed;-)}. It's the curves I leave the needle down in the applique and lift my presser foot and make tiny adjustments then they sew stitch and do it again, and again ... Important - it slowly while you sew.
Next my son is piggy which made Little-Crafts-Bee especially for my son.
Pretty simple summer project.
