GOMASIO, tasty and healthy.

Gomasio is made of sesame seeds, a healthy food, high in protein and fiber. This nutritious Asian sesame seed condiment is also full of calcium, tasty and gluten free condiments.

To prepare gomasio use sea salt and sesame seeds. It is important to the proportions that depend on the season, weather, temperature, age, health, activity.
Summer: from 1(tablespoons salt): 12(tablespoons sesame) to 1:16 (because high temperatures prevail - yang element)
Autumn and winter: from 1:8 to 1:10 (the dominance of cold - element yin). These and many other interesting information I found on the blog http://projektymamykwiatka.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/gomasio-zdrowe-solenie.html It is a pity that it is only in Polish. This blog is very inspiring for me.

Gomasio is healthy, tasty and easy to make.
Roast the sesame seeds and salt  in a dry pan, stirring to prevent burning until sesame seeds will be golden brown.

Remove pan from heat and allow seed mixture to cool. Next place sesame seeds and salt in a mortar and pestle; grind into a coarse meal. Use up within a month.

Bon appetite!

    1. I use it almost everything. I use it to fresh salads, which is where I normally used the salt. Although sometimes it is not too good decision for taste ;-)
